As a note, I couldn’t find this annotated anywhere but the stats from ‘esxcli storage core adapter stats get’ are reset at each reboot. This was tested on ESXi 5.5 Update 2.
Before:
Before Reboot counters have high values.
After:
After Reboot counters are clear.
